Take control of managing your
mild to moderate rosacea!

Studies show that patients using FINACEA experience a reduction in the bumps and pimples, as well as the redness, associated with mild to moderate inflammatory rosacea. Check out the results that some patients with mild to moderate rosacea experienced with FINACEA.

Results shown are for individual patients. Not all patients may have the same results.

When to expect results

Although results may vary, in clinical trials many patients who used FINACEA saw their symptoms improve continuously starting in 4 weeks. Although there is no cure for rosacea and no treatment can make your symptoms disappear completely, in 12-week clinical trials, patients using FINACEA experienced continuous improvement in redness, as well as in bumps and lesions throughout the study. By contrast, improvements from the other topical medication used in the study stopped after week 8.

Use FINACEA as prescribed

The best results with most therapies take time and patience. This is especially true in the treatment of rosacea, which is a chronic condition. To get the most out of your treatment with FINACEA, it's extremely important to keep applying it regularly as directed by your dermatologist to meet your particular skin care needs, even though you don't "see it working" right away. And once you do see improvement, it's important to keep using FINACEA as directed.

If you feel discomfort

When you first use FINACEA, you may feel a slight tingling or burning sensation. However, most users found that with time, the sensation went away. In clinical studies, the majority of patients kept using FINACEA despite these sensations. Rarely, patients with dark complexions reported a change in skin color after using azelaic acid, the active ingredient in FINACEA. A skin-care routine that includes moisturizing can limit your discomfort. But if you do notice any change in skin color, or if your discomfort or stinging make you too uncomfortable, see your dermatologist.

For best results—remember refills

If you've used up your entire prescription of FINACEA and if your face is looking good, you may be tempted to stop using FINACEA. But it's important to keep using FINACEA every day as long as your dermatologist directs, to help maintain results.
